These Open Workshops Do NOT include Materials.
Students are responsible for ALL MATERIALS and should bring their own tools.
Students may use the GRINDER ONLY.

All classes require pre-registration due to limited class sizes. Payment for class is due in full at the time of registration. Classes are for specified dates. No makeup classes are provided. Refunds are available if notice of cancellation is provided at least two weeks before the first class and/or registration is insufficient for the class. Classes are set up for adults. Children under 14 may not take or attend class except by permission from parent/guardian and instructor. Please bring your own cutting tools and supplies to all classes. Tools may be purchased from Letort Glass on or before the first class. Rentals are available only for beginner classes. For safety reasons, please choose what you wear very carefully. Students must wear closed toe shoes to all classes.

Introduction to glass Beadmaking (Lampworking) PLEASE CALL to Schedule
Age 14- adult
$65.00 Includes All materials/ This is a 3 hour workshop.
Explore the ancient art of making glass beads at a torch. Using Hot headtorches you will learn to make a basic glass bead then progress to making various shapes. We will cover all the fundamental techniques for creating successful glass beads at a torch studio set-up as well as safety considerations.
Kiln Formed Dichroic glass (jewelry) PLEASE CALL to Schedule

Learn key tips for working with dichroic glass. This class covers basic cutting skills along with safety precautions. We will discuss different
mountings for your pendant to create uniquely artistic jewelry. Each student will make a 3x3 dirchroic tile.
Beginning Stained Glass Project PLEASE CALL to Schedule
14 - adult/ This is a 2 1/2 hour workshop.
$55.00
Create a sun catcher while learning the basic stained glass skills. Choose from one of the following:
Butterfly, Bird, or Heart/beveled 2x2 square for center.
Introduction to Kiln Formed Glass PLEASE CALL to Schedule dates & times
We will explore the possibilities of fused and slumped glass in this introductory workshop. You will learn the basics of glass cutting, fusing schedules, glass compatibility and annealing schedules. You will have the chance to learn and use a variety of frit and stringers to create time and temperature tiles. You will be shown the technical and artistic side of fused glass medium. Learn both safety preacautions and materials for making molds. You will have the opportunity to make several projects that will teach you different techniques. A complete outline will be provided with an overview of Kiln differences.

Introduction to PMC - Instructor Joan Rhodes
CLASS FEE: $120.00
Create a pendant and/or a pair of earrings using textures or rubber stamps which are provided. Class includes 9 grams of PMC3, use of instructors tools, rubber cord, and jump ring for pendant and/or sterling silver ear wires. Pieces will be torch fired and finished.
OPTIONAL PMC CLASS- Would be split into two day two hours sessions. Class includes 16 grams of clay, rubber cord and sterling silver findings to complete a pnedant and a pair of earrings. The work is kiln fired. CLASS FEE: $155.00
